Today's date is the 12th December 2012. When written in shortened form it is 12-12-12. Each of the numbers is the same and this will not occur again until the 1st January 2101 which far exceeds my lifetime!
You may wonder why I chose to wrote a blog post about today's date? Last year, the 11th November was another date with all numbers the same.
I needed to change the date published to the 12th since I am in a different time zone. This broke the previously published URL.
