Orange and Poppy seed cake

Ingredients

1 whole orange (remove the sticker!)
¾ cup of sugar
120g butter – softened
2 eggs
1 cup self raising flour
¼ cup poppy seeds

Method

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
Cut up whole orange into chunks then put in food processor and pulp roughly – add a small amount of milk to help the blending process.
Mix melted butter, sugar and eggs using electric mixer.
Stir in self-raising flour and poppy seeds and mix thoroughly
Pour into a 20cm square or round cake tin which has been lined with baking paper.
Bake for 30 minutes.
